The Colours of Australia

It's no secret that I love White Gum Wool. It’s so soft and heavenly I seriously just can't get enough of it. When Nan Bray from White Gum Wool approached me to design a collection of variegated colourways to complement her lovely solid colours I jumped at the opportunity. At the time I was only days away from the birth of my second child but I began dreaming up colourways while I waited for my new little person to arrive. The weeks that followed were somewhat whirlwind-like but here we are three months later and I have a beautiful baby boy and a brand new collection to show for myself.

So without further ado I'm pleased to share with you all the first instalment of The Colours of Australia, which launched earlier this week.

Kangaroo Paw

Summer Rain

Green Tree Frog

Pebbly Beach

Protea

Spider Orchid

These colourways were inspired by elements of the Australian landscape. I will tell you a little more about each colourway in the coming weeks.

You can find current available stock here. Most of these lovelies sold out within 24 hours of the release however there is more stock coming soon so stay tuned.

Until next time,

Rebecca

My name is Rebecca Robinson and it's so lovely to meet you. I am an artist, yarn dyer and a mental wellness advocate for knitters.

I help knitters find more joy and self acceptance through their knitting practice.

I do this by providing yarn that is thoughtfully sourced, mindfully dyed and infused with delight and wonder. I love communicating my feelings and experiences through the colourways I create, and have an endless abundance of inspiration to draw from around my bush home.

I can't wait to support you on your knitting journey.
